Looking back, looking ahead W12/W11

Since Monday is my rest day, all Looking Back, Looking Ahead entries will now be on Mondays. This avoids splitting the weekend and its mileage over two weeks, keeping things more consistent overall.

For the record, the final grand total raised from last weekend's blockbuster agility fundraiser was $1,713.19! Give yourselves a round of applause!

What was I was supposed to do in Week 12? Did I do it?
  • Tuesday: 3 miles YES!
  • Wednesday: CROSS-TRAIN YES! Pilates class with Kim
  • Thursday: 4 miles YES!
  • Friday: CROSS-TRAIN YES!
  • Saturday: 4 miles YES!
  • Sunday: 6 miles (group run) YES!
Seventeen miles for the week. Not bad. And I even survived my first sports gel!

I've got one more weekend activity to work around--a one-day dog event on Sunday. Past experience has taught me that it is probably nuts to expect that I will run four miles after that...

What's my schedule for Week 11?
  • Tuesday: 4 miles
  • Wednesday: CROSS-TRAIN
  • Thursday: 4 miles
  • Friday: CROSS-TRAIN
  • Saturday: 6 miles (Group Run)
  • Sunday: 4 miles (or any number of miles that I can safely manage)
In addition to the fundraising bonanza, I also received donations from Helene and another one of my fabulous neighbors, Larry, this week! Thank you, Helene, and thank you, Larry!
