Looking back, looking ahead W8/W7


Man, this race is really starting to loom larger in the mirror. Less than 7 weeks to go! My first double-digit run ever! And I ran 20 miles this week, also a new high!

What was I was supposed to do in Week 8? Did I do it?
  • Tuesday: 4 miles YES!
  • Wednesday: CROSS-TRAIN YES! Pilates class with Kim
  • Thursday: 6 miles YES!
  • Friday: CROSS-TRAIN YES!
  • Saturday: 10 miles YES! (Wooooot!!)
  • Sunday: 4 miles NOPE--severe attack of slug-itis
What's my schedule for Week 7?
  • Tuesday: 4 miles
  • Wednesday: CROSS-TRAIN
  • Thursday: 6 miles
  • Friday: CROSS-TRAIN
  • Saturday: 8 miles (informal group run)
  • Sunday: 4 miles
Since we're "only" doing 8 miles on Saturday, maybe I will even manage to do the 4 miles on Sunday. (We can hope.) That would bring me to 22 miles for the week.

"Only" 4 miles tomorrow, whoo-hoo!
